I cannot say enough good things about Ned and the team he has assembled at Stein Automotive! I have worked with Ned for many years and have found him to be honest beyond reproach when it comes to dealing with my car. Ned has hired several impressive people over the years who have followed his standards. James is one of the most recent hires and it is my experience with Ned and James that prompted me to write this review. I own a 2000 Mercedes ML320 which I bought new in November of 2000. I just crossed over 245,000 miles and I have put every mile on that SUV. As soon as it was out of warranty, I began taking it to Ned. He was always honest and open about repairs that needed to be done. About a year and a half ago, I decided I was going to keep my ML320 and so I put some money into it to fix some issues it was having. Ned gave me very good advice about what to expect from this car and what would be asking too much. Well, sadly, just recently, James told me that a repair that needed to be made for safety purposes was going to cost a significant amount of money...much more than was reasonable to spend. As Ned has always done, James was very honest in his assessment. He said "...I know you love this car, but honestly it's time to move on." That statement struck me because in giving me that advice, for all he knew he was going to lose a customer if I chose to buy a new car. He did have my best interest at heart! So, I am now in the market for a used Mercedes to replace my ML320 and I can assure you that no one other than Ned and his team at Stein will service that vehicle! Thank you Ned and James!!
